That’s where Professor Shingleton comes in! He’s here to put your mind at ease and help demystify the science behind CericadeTM.
Professor Shingleton was actually inspired by Frank Carman, the brain behind CericadeTM. Throughout his 44-year career as a painting contractor turned inventor, Frank ran businesses across three states. He’s seen a great range of defects, innovations, and opportunities for improvement throughout the roofing industry – the one he saw the most potential in however, was ceramics in paint technology.
Ceramics in paint have been used on the surface of space crafts, racecars, and other high performance applications for decades. Frank knew if he could harness the power of nanoceramics within roofing, it would revolutionize the industry. Thus, after seven years of dedicated research and development, the strong, ceramic resin that is CericadeTM was born.
